New York-licensed therapeutic medical physicist specializing in SRS/SBRT dosimetry with reliable remote coverage.
What I'm looking for
I’m a New York-licensed therapeutic medical physicist and ABR board-eligible candidate with six years of clinical experience and a sustained treatment planning track record. I completed two dedicated dosimetry rotations (RayStation) during a CAMPEP-accredited residency, then continued covering for the dosimetry team across Atlantic Health System and Garnet Health.
In my current role, I serve as the primary planner for all SRS cases, running HyperArc on Varian TrueBeam in Eclipse from CT-sim coordination through QA and delivery. I also handle high-volume treatment planning coverage—planning VMAT, SBRT, IMRT, and 3D conformal cases—during dosimetry staff absences to keep the treatment planning queue moving.
I’m proficient across SRS, SBRT, VMAT, IMRT, and 3D conformal techniques in a two-LINAC program expanding to three full-time physicists in July 2026. My approach emphasizes dependable availability: I maintain a 50% remote schedule (five remote workdays per pay period) so remote dosimetry commitments can be handled concurrently and confidently.
Beyond planning, I’m comfortable supplementing with remote physics work such as plan checks, chart checks, and SPCs, or providing on-site weekend support when needed. I’ve also contributed to program growth through SRS MapCheck phantom commissioning, led a successful HDR audit by NJ State inspectors, and built a Python-based tool to streamline HDR QA film analysis.
Experience
Work history, roles, and key accomplishments
Medical Physicist (SRS Planner)
Garnet Health Medical Center
Dec 2025 - Present (6 months)
Primary planner for all SRS cases (HyperArc in Eclipse on Varian TrueBeam), managing workflow from CT-simulation through QA and delivery. Plan VMAT, SBRT, IMRT, and 3D conformal cases during coverage gaps in a two-LINAC program expanding to three full-time physicists in July 2026, with a reliable 50% remote schedule.
Medical Physicist (Clinical Physics)
Atlantic Health System
Jul 2023 - Dec 2025 (2 years 5 months)
Provided full clinical physics coverage in a high-volume two-TrueBeam clinic with active HDR brachytherapy, regularly supporting treatment planning during dosimetry absences. Commissioned SRS MapCheck phantom, authored a comparative abstract on Winston-Lutz vs machine performance checks for isocenter alignment, and led a successful HDR audit by NJ State inspectors.
Physics Resident (CAMPEP)
Thomas Jefferson University Hospital at Christiana Care
Jul 2021 - Jun 2023 (1 year 11 months)
Completed two dedicated dosimetry rotations in RayStation and provided ongoing planning coverage during dosimetry team absences throughout the residency. Performed LINAC and CT QA, monthly Elekta ABC QA, VMAT QA, PSQA, and HDR source exchanges, and supported commissioning of VMAT-TBI, LINAC-based SBRT, SRS MapCheck, Valencia skin applicators, and HDR ring applicator workflows.
Junior Medical Physicist
Inspire Oncology
Mar 2021 - Jun 2021 (3 months)
Managed clinical physics remotely under supervision, including LINAC QA, CT QA, PSQA, chart checks, MU hand calculations, and in-vivo dosimetry. Led commissioning of the Landauer microSTARii OSLD system to support clinical QA workflows.
Junior Medical Physicist
Ccare
Jun 2020 - Mar 2021 (9 months)
Assisted senior physicist with monthly QA, PSQA, special physics consults, and image registration in clinical workflows. Supported quality and treatment planning readiness through consistent QA participation.
QA Application Specialist
DOSIsoft
Jun 2019 - May 2020 (11 months)
Provided bilingual QA training and clinical support across the U.S. and Latin America for MU2net, EPIbeam, and EPIgray products. Delivered product demonstrations and education at AAPM, ASTRO, and ALFIM to support customer adoption and effective use.
QA Technician
Northwell Center for Advanced Medicine
Aug 2018 - May 2020 (1 year 9 months)
Assisted with QA, imaging imports and fusions, in-vivo dosimetry, and CT-based contouring support. Supported clinical quality workflows by contributing to imaging and dosimetry-related preparation tasks.
