Luca Pettinato
@lucapettinato
Environmental and development economist delivering sustainability-focused economic and financial analysis with pragmatic project coordination.
What I'm looking for
I’m an Economist specialized in Environmental and Development Economics, and I focus on translating data and field realities into clear, decision-ready analysis. Through my Master’s (LM-56) and hands-on roles, I combine economic and financial reasoning with strong organizational and stakeholder management to support practical, results-driven outcomes—especially where sustainability and environmentally responsible development matter.
In my recent experience, I’ve coordinated international sustainability training programmes end-to-end, managing communications, collecting and analyzing feedback, supporting candidate selection, and monitoring activities with collaborative digital tools. I also worked as a Business & Financial Advisory Trainee, supporting economic and financial analysis, business plan preparation, and financial forecasting for SME clients, including assistance with corporate documentation and restructuring procedures under the Italian Business Crisis and Insolvency Code (CCII). Alongside this, I’ve managed real-time logistics and operations as a MICE Coordinator and volunteered with organizations supporting vulnerable households, reinforcing my ability to handle complex workflows and collaborate effectively under time pressure.
