What I'm looking for

I am looking for a role that allows me to support individuals with developmental challenges while fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

I am a passionate professional with hands-on experience delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism and developmental disorders. My foundational knowledge of ABA principles, prompt hierarchies, and reinforcement strategies has equipped me to effectively support young clients in their developmental journeys. I have collaborated with multidisciplinary teams, including BCBAs and Instructor Therapists, to create tailored interventions that foster positive outcomes.

Throughout my career, I have worked in various roles, including as a Housing Support Worker, where I advocated for women experiencing gender-based violence, and as an intern in mental health services, where I observed and learned about behavior intervention strategies. My experience as a School Counsellor and Life Skills Trainer allowed me to implement effective behavior guidance techniques and conduct individual counseling sessions, leading to significant improvements in students' communication and problem-solving skills.

With a strong commitment to fostering supportive environments, I have also engaged in community outreach programs to promote awareness of autism and ABA services. I am eager to continue my professional development and contribute to meaningful initiatives that enhance the lives of individuals with special needs.
