At Weiss Family Care, I provided direct patient care in urgent care and administered pediatric vaccines and GLP-1 medications, including Semaglutide and Tirzepatide. I also trained patients on self-administration, injection site selection and rotation, and safe sharps disposal.
At Floyd Urgent Care, I coordinated lab work and DOT collections, performed rapid testing and urgent care X-rays, and assisted providers with exams and minor procedures. My care also included wound care, nebulizer treatments, EKGs, and sports physicals.
At Gadsden Regional Primary Care, I supported patient visits with phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, and imaging pre-certifications. I also handled medication prior authorizations and referrals, and taught patients to use glucometers, insulin, and inhalers.
