Provide one-on-one tutoring to high school students across mathematics, biology, physics, chemistry, and multiple languages. Tailor lesson plans to students’ needs, track progress, and communicate regularly with parents to adjust strategies.

Assist in developing therapeutics for cancer and neurodegenerative diseases using protein mimetics and cell-penetrating peptides. Develop nanoparticle-based drug delivery systems for targeted Alzheimer’s disease treatment.

Represent NYU Abu Dhabi to prospective students and families by leading campus tours and supporting admissions events. Manage inquiries via phone and email and contribute to outreach and marketing, improving public speaking and cross-cultural communication.

Assist with organizing and executing campus athletics events. Manage scheduling and preparation of athletic facilities, oversee the Athletics Reception Desk, support administrative duties, and help run Community Sports Leagues.

Maintain cell cultures to study mitochondrial dysfunction and perform mitochondrial respiration assays to assess OXPHOS function in different tissues. Run Western blots to evaluate OXPHOS-related protein/gene expression and analyze results to generate graphs and figures for reports and presentations.

Support dinner service for individuals experiencing homelessness by ensuring meals are served promptly. Help maintain a clean and welcoming environment through dishwashing and post-meal sanitation while working with staff and volunteers.

Assist with slicing brain sections and performing immunohistochemistry, including free-floating brain tissue mounting. Prepare microscope slides for analysis, conduct DNA extractions, and support scientific paper writing, editing, and peer review feedback.

Prepare students for exams using mock tests and create practice materials to reinforce class knowledge. Teach weekly recitations, collaborate on learning programs and objectives, and grade homework and exams.

Earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Premedical and Health Studies track, along with a Brain and Cognitive Science specialization. Completed coursework in neurobiology and psychology.
