What I'm looking for

I am looking for a collaborative environment where I can contribute to innovative research and continue to grow my skills in biochemistry.

I am a dedicated biochemistry student at Brigham Young University, set to graduate in April 2024. With a GPA of 3.60, I have honed my skills in various laboratory techniques, including Western Blot, PCR, and immunofluorescence microscopy. My academic journey has been complemented by practical experiences, such as my current role as a Lab Manager and Research Technician at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I manage lab operations and mentor undergraduate students.

Throughout my research career, I have contributed to significant projects, including characterizing the effects of mTORC1 inhibitors and testing cell growth factors to enhance gene therapy drugs. My experience as a Teaching Assistant in Organic Chemistry has further developed my ability to communicate complex concepts effectively, mentoring over 200 students. I am passionate about bridging cultural gaps as a Medical Interpreter at Maliheh Clinic, ensuring that Spanish-speaking patients receive the care they need.
