What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a fast-paced veterinary role where I can keep patients stable, communicate clearly with clients, and deliver quality emergency care. I want a team that values critical thinking, compassion, and consistent support.

I’m a Veterinary Assistant with 4 years of experience in veterinary emergency medicine, and I’m strongly passionate about providing quality care for all patients and clients. I work confidently in fast-paced environments and stay focused under pressure.

At Veterinary Specialty Center of Tucson, I supported multiple emergency and ICU workflows. I handled triaging over the phone, obtained patient histories and vitals, assisted with radiographs, admitted patients, ran basic bloodwork, placed IV catheters, and performed blood draws.

During critical cases, I helped stabilize incoming emergencies, assisted with CPR procedures, and set up and monitored antivenin transfusions. I also monitored patients during sedated and general anesthetic procedures, including preparing and observing key treatment steps.

Later, I broadened my professional experience in both client-facing and operational roles. At Civano animal hospital emergency center, I worked as an ICU technician with tasks like reading blood smear slides, running lab work, administering medications, and monitoring blood and antivenin transfusions. I also took on Social Media Moderator work at Alorica and served as a Figo Pet Insurance Sale Representative, strengthening my ability to explain coverage details and resolve policy questions.
