What I'm looking for

I am looking for a role that allows me to further support special education initiatives and mentor future educators.

I am a passionate special education teacher with over two decades of experience in diverse educational settings. My journey began in Florida, where I taught K-6 students with various disabilities, and has evolved into a mentorship role within the Anchorage School District. I have a strong commitment to supporting students with special needs, ensuring they receive the tailored education they deserve.

Throughout my career, I have excelled in developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and utilizing technology to enhance learning experiences, especially during challenging times like the COVID-19 pandemic. My dedication to professional development is evident through my ongoing education, including a Master's degree in Special Education and various certifications. I take pride in my ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights that help determine special education eligibility and improve student outcomes.
