What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a backend/platform role where I can own data and API systems, modernize legacy services, and strengthen reliability and developer workflows with distributed architectures and strong operational practices.

I’m a backend and platform engineer with 13+ years of experience building large-scale data systems, APIs, and event-driven architectures. I lead platform initiatives end-to-end—from architecture to production operation—with deep expertise in Go, TypeScript, distributed messaging, and data warehousing.

Most recently, I led the evolution of a Snowflake-based analytics platform processing billions of records, improving reliability, development workflows, and operational efficiency. I helped replace a decade-old legacy platform with a more capable system, delivering broader feature coverage, better data quality, and roughly 95% lower data platform infrastructure costs.

Before that, I built event-driven microservices for a large HR platform using Go, Ruby on Rails, RabbitMQ, and PostgreSQL, including a RabbitMQ redesign that achieved three years of zero incidents. I also shaped distributed-systems tooling through open source (e.g., rabbids) and shared my work by speaking at Gophercon Brazil.
