Leah Varughese
@leahvarughese
Product leader specializing in digital payments, fraud prevention, and end-to-end product delivery.
What I'm looking for
I am a product leader with a strong foundation in digital payments and fraud prevention, holding a B.S. in Economics from Carnegie Mellon University. I combine analytical rigor with user-centered design to build scalable banking products that serve both innovation-economy businesses and large institutional clients.
At J.P. Morgan Chase I led cross-functional teams to deliver the Ring New Experience payments platform and coordinated six major fraud-prevention initiatives, overseeing Agile processes, sprint planning, and roadmap execution. I served as the primary liaison among product owners, engineering, and senior leadership to escalate risks and report milestones.
I also drove zero-to-one delivery of a healthcare platform proof-of-concept in an in-house incubator, conducting interviews with 95+ medical professionals, building valuation tools in Excel, and presenting business cases to executives to enable new market entry. Additionally, I managed enhancements to internal sales tools, performed in-depth analytics for high-volume services, and produced job aids used by ~800 sales leads.
I bring strong stakeholder management, quantitative analysis, and hands-on product execution skills, and I enjoy solving complex operational and user experience problems that unlock new business opportunities.
