Lauren Calloway

I am a driven, dedicated Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) and Cath Lab Manager with hands-on experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiology and peripheral vascular procedures. I supervise cath lab personnel, manage day-to-day department operations, and ensure clinical quality and staffing through scheduling, timecard review, and supply management.

Clinically, I assist physicians in left/right cardiac catheterizations, venous stenting with IVUS, peripheral interventions (iliacs, renal, lower extremities), balloon angioplasty, and perform all procedural roles (circulate, monitor, scrub). I also conduct daily data abstraction from the EMR for cath and peripheral cases and support accurate CPT coding with billing.

As a leader, I have progressed from Lead Tech to Cath Lab Manager, focusing on patient safety, workflow optimization, and staff proficiency while maintaining certifications in ACLS and BLS. I am passionate about exceeding institutional and patient goals and continuing to grow in interventional cardiovascular care.
