I am a cardiovascular nurse specializing in high-acuity cardiac care with a strong focus on patient safety and procedural support.
In my current role as a cath lab nurse, I perform comprehensive pre-procedure assessments, obtain informed consent, administer ordered medications, and prepare patients for cardiac catheterization while monitoring vital signs, EKGs, and hemodynamics.
Previously I cared for complex CVICU and progressive care cardiac patients, managing advanced devices such as Impella, SLED, EKOS catheters, IABP, and pulmonary artery catheters, titrating cardiovascular and sedation drips, and assisting with bedside and postoperative procedures.
I have held charge and senior manager responsibilities, provide clinical guidance to staff, and maintain active certifications (CCRN, ACLS, PALS, BLS); I am committed to collaborative, multidisciplinary care and continuous clinical improvement.
