Kym Gillingham

I am Kimberley Gillingham, currently serving as a Freedom to Speak Up Guardian with the East of England Ambulance Service. My role focuses on ensuring that staff and patient safety are prioritized, addressing complaints and whistleblowing concerns with the utmost seriousness and effectiveness. This position has honed my skills in communication and conflict resolution, allowing me to advocate for those who may feel unheard.

Prior to this, I spent nine years as an Investigator within the Custody Investigation Unit at Suffolk Constabulary. My experience involved investigating serious offenses, gathering evidence, and conducting PACE-compliant interviews. I have a proven track record of presenting cases to the Crown Prosecution Service and providing evidence in both magistrates and crown courts. My dedication to thorough investigations and commitment to justice has been a driving force throughout my career.
