What I'm looking for

I'm looking for a genetic counseling role where I can provide patient-centered, non-directive care across complex clinical genetics and contribute to health equity, education, and supportive team-based practice.

I'm completing Northwestern University's Genetic Counseling MS program while building clinical experience at Lurie Children's Hospital, University of Illinois Chicago, University of Chicago, Northwestern Medicine, Loyola University Chicago, and Endeavor/NorthShore.

I've counseled patients across pediatric cardiology, hereditary cancer, neurogenetics, adult neurology, and prenatal care, supporting risk assessment, informed consent, variant interpretation, and emotionally complex decisions. I also translate cardiovascular genetics for community audiences, including presentations to more than 60 Chicago high school students.

My research centers health equity, from first-generation genetic counseling student success to culturally informed approaches to Asian flushing response and BIPOC equity in cancer therapeutics. I bring a non-directive, patient-centered counseling approach shaped by crisis counseling, reproductive health support, and emergency care.
