I'm building and maintaining Ruby on Rails applications at Kindbody, following nearly two decades focused on Ruby and Rails.
Through Toptal, I delivered maintenance, new features, refactoring, test-suite work, and integrations for clients including Palomino, Sterling Capital Brokers, Worship Online, Spreemo Health, and Courtroom Connect. At Worship Online, I built an API for mobile apps, an audio mixer synchronized with Wistia-hosted tutorial videos, parts of a new UI, and a custom e-commerce solution.
I prefer backend work, while bringing considerable frontend experience with Vue.js, Backbone.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
I've spent most of my career working remotely in distributed, English-speaking teams, communicating daily in writing and conversation. I'm comfortable learning and shifting to other frontend frameworks when needed.

Hired as contractor from Toptal. Working on company's client application in terms of maintenance and new features.
Hired as contractor from Toptal. Ongoing maintenance. Implementing new features and new insurance companies setups/configs.
Hired as contractor from Toptal. General maintenance of the app. Introduced several new features. Most significant ones were the API for mobile apps, audio mixer with audio tracks synchronized to tutorial videos hosted using Wistia (custom plugin had to be developed to allow synchronization). Also implemented part of new UI along with custom e-commerce solution.
