What I'm looking for

I'm looking to continue building positive, restorative learning environments through science instruction, student support, teacher coaching, curriculum development, and school-wide culture systems.

I've taught sixth-grade science at Roosevelt Middle School in Oakland since 2019, designing instruction for varied academic levels and learning styles while supporting student progress. I was named OUSD Teacher of the Year for the 2025–26 school year.

Previously, at Golden State Preparatory Academy, I led science curriculum for seventh-grade Life Science and tenth-grade Biology, coached teachers, and served as Dean of Students for 560 students in grades 6–12. I developed restorative school-wide systems, behavior support plans, professional development in classroom management, and positive behavior incentives.
