What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a backend-focused role where I can design microservices, ship reliable REST APIs, and build observability and automation into production workflows—ideally collaborating as a technical lead on real-world products.

I’m a Software Engineer who turns messy, manual workflows into structured, automated backend systems. Recently, I replaced a spreadsheet-based course allocation process by architecting a Department Course Allocation System with FastAPI, Pydantic, and PostgreSQL—delivering structured REST APIs with strict schema validation and conflict detection.

I also build production-ready services end-to-end: I engineered and deployed an internal Rust backend using Poem, SeaORM, and PostgreSQL, containerized it with Docker, and automated CI/CD with GitHub Actions and Kubernetes. I’m deliberate about reliability, adding observability by exposing custom metrics and setting up Prometheus + Grafana dashboards for real-time monitoring.

Beyond core APIs, I’ve led backend development for a B2B SaaS product—designing ACID-compliant PostgreSQL schemas, implementing JWT-based authentication with RBAC, and integrating payments and transactional email. I enjoy data-heavy problems too, building an async scraping ETL that used Pydantic quality scoring and checkpoint/resume for dependable production execution.
