UAV Operations Project Manager at Vanguard Drones, coordinating LiDAR surveys and live monitoring across approximately 140 wildfire observation posts.
GreeceWhat I'm looking for
At Vanguard Drones, I coordinate UAV operations and projects, including planning pole photography and LiDAR acquisition for a collaborative 4,000 km electricity distribution network survey. I also support high-voltage inspections, thermal imaging and orthophoto production.
For ES-KEDIK wildfire response, I coordinated UAV operations monitoring live feeds and directing tasking across approximately 140 observation posts. I also deployed to the Patras and Feneos wildfires, providing live aerial imagery, and participated in UAV search-and-rescue operations on Mount Olympus and in the Acheron Gorge area.
My work also connects UAV remote sensing with ecology: I supported a multi-sensor water leak detection pilot and contributed to ecological restoration work involving aerial seed dispersal. I hold an MSc in Ecology focused on riparian ecosystems and UAV mapping, and my doctoral research on riparian forests and UAV remote sensing is in progress.
