At Geoanalysis, I produce, process, and quality-control geospatial vector data, supporting cartographic workflows in urban and environmental contexts.
During my internship with the Municipality of Thessaloniki – Environmental Department, I assessed urban greenery and used GIS to map green spaces in support of urban planning. My academic projects have included wildfire impact analysis and environmental impact assessment for a proposed hydroelectric power plant in the Pieria Mountains.
For my thesis, “Contemporary Practices for Sustainable Urban Water Management,” I explored sustainable approaches to urban water management. I also processed Sentinel satellite data with SNAP to monitor vegetation and water resources around Thessaloniki.
