I've managed donor-funded programme finance from the auditor, implementing partner, and funder-reviewer sides. At KPMG East Africa IDAS, I led pre-award due diligence, partner capability assessments, expenditure verification, and grantmaking compliance across East and West Africa.
At Lutheran World Federation, I ran the full sub-award lifecycle for six implementing partners across a USD 10M+ restricted funding portfolio. I consolidated annual budgets of up to USD 20M across Kenya, Somalia, and Djibouti and delivered seven consecutive clean audit outcomes from 2018 to 2024.
I'm strongest in multi-country, multi-currency accounting; donor reporting; financial risk management; internal controls; and grant compliance. My work has covered Mastercard Foundation, USAID, FCDO, EU, GIZ, UN, and German donor frameworks.
More recently, I've supported SME clients with IFRS financial statements, statutory compliance, tax matters, board reporting, Power BI datasets, and finance process improvements. I've also led and developed finance teams across five duty stations in three countries.
