I’m a Grants, Reporting & Compliance Manager and fiduciary integrity specialist with 12+ years of experience managing complex, multi-country donor-funded portfolios across East Africa. I safeguard fiduciary integrity by designing robust compliance frameworks and overseeing the full sub-grant lifecycle—from due diligence and agreement execution through disbursement tracking and closeout. I pair fiduciary assurance with data-driven reporting and automation: I use Power BI dashboards and advanced Excel (Power Query, data modeling, pivot tables, lookups) to analyze large ledgers and automate journal testing, contracting data preparation cycle times by 20%. I’ve also redesigned audit program templates within CaseWare to streamline workflows, retrieving at least 8 hours of administrative capacity per audit, and authored management letters that win immediate board-level attention for risk mitigation.

Previously, I strengthened internal controls and compliance across corporate clients and pension schemes, and later supported multi-donor projects as a part-time Projects Accountant (Grants & Compliance). In those assignments, I maintained 100% adherence to donor and institutional policies, eliminated overruns across a $500,000 USD grant portfolio, and sustained an 89% on-time submission rate for narrative and financial reporting. I’m especially motivated to translate dense compliance and financial findings into clear, persuasive reporting and training that helps CSOs and youth-led organizations act with confidence.
