Qualified teacher (M.Ed.) from Norway with specialization in social studies, mathematics and natural science. My broader education includes a year of intercultural studies, military service and early childhood education. My experienced background is wide-ranging including: Four years as a substitute teacher across all grades and multiple schools, a year as a residential child counselor, one-to-one work with pupils with autism, ADHD and other special needs, teaching in welcome classes for newly arrived immigrants, field research conducted within adult education. Norwegian: Native and proficient in both written standards (bokmål, nynorsk) English: Fluent, fully comfortable writing and speaking. I'm highly creative and original, with constant flows of new ideas and a sense of how to turn them into workable, logical solutions. I often approach problems from unconventional angles and bring analytical skills and genuine drive to produce work I'm proud of. Having experienced a wide range of learning situations, I understand learning in a deep and multifaceted way, and have a strong grasp of how people function, communicate and interact within society.
