What I'm looking for

I am looking for a remote cybersecurity position where I can leverage my MEng in Electrical & Computer Engineering, Security+ and Network+ certifications, and diverse technical experience. I seek a role that offers continuous learning, challenges in identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities, and the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team.

I’m a cybersecurity professional who doesn't fit the typical mold, and that's by design.

After earning my master's in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Aristotle University (thesis on static code analysis and vulnerability identification), I served as a commando in the Greek Army Special Forces - an experience that taught me how to stay calm in chaos, make critical decisions under pressure, and execute with precision. Those aren't just military skills; they're exactly what incident response and crisis management demand.

Since joining the cybersecurity consulting world in 2024, I've delivered for clients most consultants would consider "senior-level accounts": I've written incident response playbooks for critical infrastructure, designed containment strategies for financial institutions, conducted security assessments for healthcare systems, and authored white papers for EU Commission on Zero Trust Architecture and malware defense.

I hold CISSP certification, plus Security+ and Network+. But what really sets me apart is the breadth of what I've actually built: secure network architectures for multinational warehouses, Active Directory redesign for enterprise environments, third-party risk frameworks, backup architectures spanning multi-cloud environments, and even cybersecurity awareness training platforms.

Before consulting, I worked as a network engineer designing infrastructure for SMΕs, tutored university students through complex technical subjects, and launched my own software projects—including an oceanographic monitoring app and a certification exam platform (Command-Zero) that's still running.

Here's what I bring to the table:

  • Incident Response & Crisis Management: Ransomware playbooks, containment strategies, high-pressure decision-making

  • Security Architecture: Zero trust design, network segmentation, cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)

  • Risk & Compliance: Third-party assessments, ISO frameworks, CIS Controls implementation

  • Technical Writing: RFPs, white papers, security documentation that clients actually approve

I'm currently based in Thessaloniki but work with clients across Europe. I'm looking for roles where my experience is valued appropriately—whether that's a senior consultant position, a specialized security role, or an internal security architect position where I can focus on building robust defenses rather than navigating billable hours politics.

If you're building a security team and need someone who can handle both the technical complexity and the pressure of high-stakes situations, let's talk.
