I’m a results-driven humanitarian professional focused on psychosocial support, youth empowerment, and community facilitation. I bring hands-on experience delivering life skills and entrepreneurship training while coordinating programs to measurable outcomes.
At Save the Children, I delivered life skills for success to 191 youth, entrepreneurship training to 313, and leadership training to 22 participants. I also provided ongoing coaching and mentored 143 youth on overcoming business challenges and building sustainable ventures, while supporting monitoring, community engagement, and reporting to strengthen impact delivery.
I coordinated grant support and youth engagement under the LEEP project, arranging phase 1 funding for 110 participants and phase 2 funding for 87 participants. I supported livelihood mapping, prepared support letters, and built linkages with local government offices and financial institutions, including Rasagez Women SACCO, while collaborating with M&E teams to track progress and feedback.
Before that, at Huawei Technologies I worked as a Junior Engineer / Project Assistant on telecom project operations, including site acquisition and civil work coordination. I prepared purchase orders and transportation plans, supervised delivery of equipment to sites, and ensured documentation, quality assurance, and cross-team coordination—supported by practical project management and training-of-trainers certification.

Proposed and launched an entrepreneurship-support fundraising initiative for children in IDP camps, delivering a speech to over 400 participants and collecting ETB 27,657. Purchased and distributed 56 boxes of biscuits, 430 breads, tea bags, and balloons, and mobilized volunteers to form the “Lmat Be Fiker Ye Wetatoch Begofkadegna Mahber” youth team.

Empowered women through a speech for International Women’s Day at IPDC and volunteered to support displaced families in IDP camps.
