Khushboo Verma

I am a final-year B.Tech Computer Science student with a strong academic record and a growing focus on AI/ML, Generative AI, LLM applications, and backend engineering. I enjoy building practical AI systems that solve real-world problems rather than working only on theoretical implementations.

My technical experience includes Python, C++, JavaScript, React.js, Next.js, FastAPI, Node.js, Express.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Supabase, and MySQL. On the AI side, I have worked with machine learning, NLP, RAG, vector databases, OpenCV, MediaPipe, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn. I am particularly interested in LLMs, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation, model evaluation, and building reliable AI-powered applications.

Some of my key projects include RoomMitra, an AI-powered roommate-matching platform developed during a hackathon, featuring personalized onboarding, voice interaction, compatibility analysis, and an interactive room experience. I am also developing an AI video-dubbing platform using FastAPI, PostgreSQL, FFmpeg, Whisper, translation pipelines, and speaker diarization, with a focus on building a reliable end-to-end processing workflow. I have also worked on backend systems involving job processing, retries, failure recovery, worker supervision, and audit trails.

I have participated in multiple hackathons, consistently reaching the top 10, and was a finalist in the SheBuild Hackathon. I also participated in Stanford's Code in Place program. Alongside academics and projects, I have experience teaching middle-school students as a personal tutor, which has strengthened my communication, problem-solving, and ability to explain complex concepts clearly.

Currently, I am particularly interested in international remote opportunities where I can work as an AI/ML Engineer, Applied AI Engineer, Generative AI/LLM Engineer, AI Engineer, Python Backend Engineer, or AI-focused Software Engineer. I am especially interested in startups and product-focused teams where I can contribute to building AI products, learn from experienced engineers and researchers, and take ownership of meaningful technical problems.

My long-term goal is to build strong expertise at the intersection of AI research and production engineering, with a focus on creating scalable, reliable, and useful intelligent systems.
