What I'm looking for

I want to build and scale cloud-native Java microservices on AWS—owning REST APIs and Terraform IaC—while bringing my AI/ML background into practical features. I enjoy an Agile, collaborative team that values observability and secure delivery.

I’m a Java backend developer with 1.5+ years building cloud-native microservices in Java 21 / Spring Boot 4.x for a global automotive client’s operations platform. I focus on shipping RESTful APIs end-to-end, from controller/service/repository layers to routing and infrastructure provisioning.

At Valtech, I built and maintained microservices backed by MongoDB and Amazon DynamoDB, using AWS SDK v2. I designed and delivered the Release Reports API end-to-end, and I authored 21+ Terraform PRs managing AWS API Gateway, Lambda, S3 event notifications, and CloudFront distributions—bringing strong ownership and reliable delivery to the team.

I also drove modernization and quality improvements: I migrated a lambda Python service to the Spring Boot backend with MapStruct mapping, OpenAPI documentation via SpringDoc, and API collection updates. When a critical multi-event-type bug in a Java AWS Lambda Jira / Xray integration caused silent data loss, I fixed it and added Log4j2 structured logging to improve observability.

Beyond core backend work, I bring an AI/ML mindset to production features. As a Generative AI / Machine Learning intern, I built a natural language-to-SQL query generator, developed a real-time health monitoring REST API with OpenCV for rPPG extraction, and created RAG pipeline experiences with LangChain and LLM tooling—then packaged them into domain-specific chatbots using Botpress.
