Kenneth Pridgen

I’m a game developer and 3D designer who blends real production work with strong academic communication. In my roles as a Teacher’s Assistant and peer tutor, I led class reviews, supported note taking, and helped peers strengthen their writing and understanding.

Alongside teaching, I’ve worked hands-on with teams—overseeing daily campus garden tasks and helping maintain projects as part of the Gardens and Arboretum team. Earlier, as a Plumber’s Apprentice, I operated heavy machinery and handled installations, from marking and cutting pipes and tiles to explaining the job process to customers.

In my projects, I focus on building complete, playable experiences. My senior capstone, Speed Door, is a 3D platforming/speed running game built in Unreal Engine over the course of a year, and I contributed nearly all of the 3D modeling for Marooned as a semester project.

I also bring research and storytelling into my work through history and communication-focused projects. I conducted an oral history for High Point University’s 100-year anniversary and wrote an excerpt for the High Point University Sculpture Initiative, sharpening how I translate ideas into clear, engaging narratives.
