I’m seeking a Locum Tenens PMHNP position where I can deliver patient-centered psychiatric care—perform evaluations, medication management, and crisis intervention across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings—while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

I am an APMHNP and PMHNP with thirty years of healthcare experience, including 26 years as a registered nurse in mental health and 14 years as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. I bring strong initiative, conscientiousness, and exceptional clinical skills—paired with the ability to work well with others and under pressure during crises.

I have a stable history of successfully contributing to inpatient and outpatient healthcare settings and community services. As a prescribing provider, I conduct psychiatric evaluations, provide diagnostic and treatment services, manage medications, participate in treatment teams, and deliver crisis intervention services within the community, while advocating through peer reviews with Louisiana Medicaid for authorization and re-authorization of ACT services. I also support advanced practice education as an adjunct instructor and preceptor, and I have served in roles including Medical Director and Owner of a psychiatric services practice.
