What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a collaborative psychiatric setting where I can lead and deliver trauma-informed, evidence-based care—combining DSM-5-TR evaluation, therapy, and careful psychopharmacology—for incarcerated, veteran, and underserved patients.

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and clinical leader with experience spanning correctional psychiatry, military behavioral health, and psychiatric-mental health nursing education. I bring a mission-focused approach shaped by my U.S. Air Force Reserve service and my work in academic clinical instruction.

In correctional settings, I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations using DSM-5-TR diagnostic formulation and individualized treatment planning. I deliver individual talk therapy, facilitate structured group therapy, and manage severe mental illness with psychopharmacology—including careful selection and adjustment of antipsychotic regimens based on metabolic, extrapyramidal, and prolactin risk profiles.

I’m also known for high-accountability care during crises. I conduct structured suicide risk assessments and crisis interventions for high-acuity presentations, and I manage complex psychiatric polypharmacy with attention to QTc and drug-interaction risk monitoring—while ensuring adherence and tolerability are addressed throughout treatment.

Alongside direct clinical practice, I lead and mentor teams, coordinate with custody and behavioral health professionals, and model unified, ethical psychiatric care. I also support military readiness in a behavioral health nursing leadership role and guide students through simulation-based learning and competency evaluation, with culturally responsive care in English and Haitian Creole.
