At KDT Creative, I research and write interpretive content for design firms, translating primary research and complex subject matter into stories that build trust and connect audiences. I also direct branded video content from concept to execution and maintain my business website in WordPress.
As Curator for the City of Roanoke, Texas, Visitors Center & Museum, I produced public-facing content and developed an integrated social media and outreach strategy. It contributed to a 33% increase in attendance, alongside growth in digital interactions, site visits and followers.
I conceived, designed and wrote an interactive downtown walking tour that increased engagement 77%, and led a digitization initiative that made archival records searchable. I also managed departmental budgets and secured and administered a $25,000 federal (IMLS) grant.
Earlier, I managed editorial calendars and brand standards at TravelHost, University of North Texas, and American Airlines Publishing, and wrote employee and web content at Vizient. My background combines journalism and history, including volunteer research that helped secure historic cemetery designations and marker confirmations in Texas.
