I have five years of experience handling end-to-end recruitment and have received several awards for spearheading activities. With nine years in the recruitment industry, I've filled various roles across multiple industries. Recruitment has always been my home, comfort zone, and first love.
In 2014, I discovered that I thrive on the backend side of this industry. I excel at screening resumes, managing email correspondence, handling credentialing and admin tasks, ensuring candidates don't get ghosted, and providing the best candidate experience throughout the recruitment process—even if it means chasing after hiring managers!
Hiring more people means your business is growing, but it also means things will get hectic. You'll be balancing regular tasks while trying to close all these hirings. Your team might be all hands on deck or already have someone recruiting talent for you.
It can get sticky and stressful when you're hiring for multiple roles, screening resumes, moving candidates through stages, scheduling interviews, and waiting for feedback from hiring managers. The more stages and roles, the stickier it gets. Additional tasks can add more pressure and stress, often resulting in getting lost in the pipeline stages, losing track of resumes, interviews, feedback, and assessments. It's chaotic and can paint a bad picture of your business if not managed properly.
