Kashweka Kalombo

I am a committed professional with a strong background in agriculture and climate resilience. Currently serving as a Field Officer with Community Climate Solution Zambia, I have successfully coordinated climate resilience interventions across multiple project wards, mobilizing over 500 community members for training on sustainable fire management tools. My efforts have led to a significant reduction in wildfire incidents by 40% in targeted villages, showcasing my ability to drive impactful change.

In addition to my fieldwork, I have gained valuable experience as a Research Assistant Intern at the Indaba Agriculture Policy Research Institute, where I conducted surveys and analyzed the impacts of climate change on food security. My academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy and a Diploma in General Agriculture, equipping me with the technical knowledge necessary to excel in the agriculture sector.
