John Matelski
@johnmatelski
I build rigorous, reproducible clinical research analyses and R tools that advance health research.
What I'm looking for
I've led statistical analysis at University Health Network for clinical and observational studies contributing to 80+ peer-reviewed publications. I design studies, build survival, longitudinal, mixed-effects, and Bayesian models, and translate complex results into clear reporting for clinical teams.
Now, through independent consulting with Stats R Us, I provide study-design guidance, data analysis, manuscript support, and custom R-based tools for academic and applied research clients. I work best with autonomy, bring intellectual curiosity to difficult methodological problems, and enjoy making advanced statistics accessible through teaching and collaboration.
