What I'm looking for

I'm looking to own and scale high-impact backend platforms, lead systems from design through production, and solve distributed-systems challenges in fintech, payments, or other high-volume products.

I've built and scaled fintech backend systems at Zype and Setu across NBFC lending, Account Aggregator, payments, and customer rewards. My work spans Python and Golang services that support high-volume, low-latency production workloads.

At Zype, I led a multi-NBFC migration across Loan, Payment, KYC, and Account services, including zero-downtime database migration and secure AWS VPC PrivateLink communication that improved latency by 20%. I also built a Golang Repayment Rewards Service serving 40,000+ users, improving on-time payment rates by 14% with 100% uptime and no production incidents since launch.

At Setu, I served as the primary backend engineer for an Account Aggregator platform processing 1M+ monthly consent-based data-fetch requests and integrating 16+ Financial Information Providers. I also built settlement, notification, eKYC, and merchant-verification systems that reduced manual operations and improved onboarding outcomes.

I've led small engineering teams from design through production, owned platform and database migrations end-to-end, and strengthened observability across distributed systems. Earlier at Quantiphi, I built AWS and GCP CI/CD and serverless automation workflows for Python applications.
