@kakoka
Information and communication engineer focused on computer vision and 3D reconstruction.
What I'm looking for
I’m a graduate student in Information and Communication Engineering, currently shaping my research around DOE-based laser backlight design for AR contact lenses. My work bridges sensing, optics, and vision—grounded in practical implementation and strong problem-solving under constraints.
In project work, I helped deliver “UWB Indoor Localization,” responsible for hardware setup and debugging, completed at national level. I also earned “National Third Prize” in the National Undergraduate FPGA Innovation Competition by handling hardware assembly, wiring, and enclosure design, and I contributed to multiple award-winning efforts including Meritorious Winner (M Prize) for MCM/ICM (USA), CUMCM second prize (provincial), and Xinghuo Cup first prize (school).
I’m especially drawn to 3D reconstruction and image recognition, because I can connect algorithms to measurable performance. I’m experienced with C/C++ and Python, and I use OpenCV/GL and deep learning frameworks to support projects ranging from 3D reconstruction (3DGS, NeRF) to holographic projection and image compression.
Beyond technical execution, I lead with a steady mindset: “Stay positive when facing technical challenges or project bottlenecks.” I’ve been a class president for 4 years, organized class events and communications, secured sponsorships through the Student Union Outreach Department, and contributed to cultural exchange through the Nagoya University Chinese Students and Scholars Association—strengthening my communication, teamwork, and coordination skills.
