At The Chinese University of Hong Kong, I’m pursuing an MSc in Robotics and studying computer vision, nanorobotics, and autonomous mobile robots.
In my research on urban energy modeling, I designed an autonomous drone system to collect building data using multi-agent path planning and RGB, thermal infrared, and LiDAR sensors. I used 3D Gaussian splatting and semantic segmentation to identify building components and reconstruct 3D models.
For an autonomous mobile robot project, I developed a ROS2 navigation system for mapping, repositioning, and path navigation in indoor environments. I used SLAM Toolbox and tuned Nav2 cost maps and planner parameters to support narrow passages and obstacle avoidance at 90-degree turns.
In an industrial safety-wear detection project, I built a factory-specific dataset of 4,000 images and proposed an improved TSM-YOLO model based on YOLOv8n. Ablation experiments showed improved detection accuracy and fewer missed detections of small targets.
