What I'm looking for
I am a master's student in Control Engineering at Xiamen University with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from North China Electric Power University. I focus on applying machine learning and computer vision to industrial problems, notably developing a YOLOv8-based system for dual-energy X-ray metal sorting.
In a recent project I implemented YOLOv8, OpenCV and TensorFlow to detect and classify aluminum, zinc, lead and copper, achieving 93% classification accuracy and improving sorting accuracy by 10%; I contributed to data preprocessing, model optimization and real-time deployment with a cross-functional team.
