What I'm looking for

I am seeking a role that allows me to foster student engagement and promote literacy in a collaborative environment.

I am a passionate educator with a strong background in library science and teaching. My experience as a high school librarian has allowed me to work closely with students and teachers, facilitating access to a wide variety of information formats. I take pride in my ability to instruct students on how to evaluate and use information effectively, while also introducing them to literature that broadens their horizons.

In my role as an interim RLA and social studies middle school teacher, I delivered high-quality instruction that aligned with state standards. I fostered a classroom environment that encouraged curiosity and a love for reading and writing. My commitment to student development is evident in my approach to creating engaging lessons that promote critical thinking and active citizenship.

Throughout my career, I have also supported special education students as an aide, providing a positive and caring learning environment. My diverse experiences in education, combined with my Master of Science in Library Science with a concentration in Youth Librarianship, equip me to make a meaningful impact in any educational setting.
