What I'm looking for

I'm looking to apply my research, writing, editing, and public-facing communications experience to work that informs communities and turns complex issues into clear, useful stories.

I teach conversational English at Study Factory English Academy in Daegu, creating tailored lessons that build students’ speaking confidence across ages and proficiency levels.

Previously, I supported the City of Durham Innovation Team with data-driven, human-centered research, reports, grants, press releases, and public-facing case studies in CivicPlus. As Managing Editor and Opinion Editor at Technician, I led editorial teams, directed weekly print and online publishing, and edited high-volume content; my writing has earned North Carolina College Media Association awards in news and opinion writing.
