At Twizza, I research market trends, brief flavour houses, and conduct tastings and sensory analysis to develop products. I manage projects for Spar and Shoprite housebrand, oversee factory trials, and work on product specifications and label checks.
At Le Cap Food Enterprise, I oversaw NPD briefs from concept to launch for customers including PnP, Checkers, and Danone. I formulated and improved recipes across products such as sauces, marinades, and dairy snacks, and supported developments through factory trials and production instructions.
Earlier, I formulated recipes and prepared product specifications at Freddy Hirsch, and worked on quality and sensory evaluation at In2Food. My product development work includes launching the extended range of Pick n Pays Simply cook range and helping reduce costs on a customer’s marinades while maintaining their original quality.
