At The Empire Publishers, I served as a Research Assistant (Contract) supporting 50+ authors across the publishing journey. I guided manuscript preparation, helped create tailored marketing roadmaps, and supported successful book launches—ensuring each author’s work both reaches publication and finds its audience. I also contributed to showcasing authors at the London Book Fair in March 2024, and supported onboarding and preparation for the Frankfurt Book Fair in October 2025.
Earlier, as a Research Assistant (Freelance) at Penguin Random House South Africa (Dubai), I navigated book proposals and conducted market searches to assess manuscript potential. This experience sharpened my manuscript evaluation and market analysis skills, reinforcing the importance of aligning stories with market demands.
