What I'm looking for

I'm looking to lead complex engineering work in structural integrity, asset reliability, advanced simulation, and energy systems, combining technical decision-making, client collaboration, and multidisciplinary team leadership.

I lead engineering delivery at Virtualmech, overseeing complex industrial and energy projects, client interfaces, cost control, planning, and cross-functional technical teams.

Across more than 12 years at Virtualmech, I have progressed from Mechanical and R&D Engineer to Chief Engineer and Technical Director. I have delivered over 100 technical reviews, validations, and integrity assessments, alongside more than 40 site investigations.

My work centers on concentrated solar power, molten-salt tanks, thermal storage, piping, receiver systems, structural integrity, root cause analysis, and fitness-for-service. I use FEA/CFD and field evidence to support repair engineering, reliability decisions, and failure prevention.

I hold a PhD in Industrial Engineering focused on computational mechanics for CSP, where I developed tools and methodologies for molten-salt operations, thermal storage, solar-field design, and receiver optimisation. I also contribute to CSP innovation and have experience developing railway track-monitoring systems for commercial rail and metro environments.
