At IDOM Consulting, Engineering, Architecture, I prepared and evaluated thermomechanical finite element analyses for nuclear systems, including plasma-facing components, bioshields, and purification-loop systems. I used ABAQUS and applicable nuclear codes and standards, and supported design and manufacturing activities.
I developed parametrised Python automation for pre- and post-processing, and worked on CFD and fluid–structure analysis for fusion applications. My current PhD research explores bio-inspired designs for fusion reactor components, including conjugate heat transfer simulations of low-Prandtl liquid-metal flows.
