I’m a Software Engineer with 6+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications in Banking, Insurance, State Movable - Immovable property, and Medical industries. I specialize in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, SQL Server, and Docker, with a strong focus on system integration and agile development.

In my current role, I support the Costa Rica National Registry platform for movable and immovable property (including CEN, CES, SIPLA), working in a remote environment to keep business-critical capabilities running reliably. I bring a practical mindset to integration and maintenance—ensuring services stay stable while adapting to evolving platform needs.

Previously, I led a major migration of the MSC banking platform (BAC Costa Rica) to Java 21, Spring Boot 3, Gradle, Docker, and Hibernate 5. I automated workflows and decision-making processes, integrating features like individual opening, digital accounts, beneficiaries, debit card creation, mass account uploads, and mass account management approvals—while also supporting account opening, risk level, maintenance, approval workflows, and microservices integration.

Before that, at Quálitas Insurance Company Costa Rica, I designed and maintained self-service vehicle insurance systems using Java, Spring Boot, and SQL Server with REST/SOAP services. I developed customized insurance quote systems and integrated payment gateways with BCCR banking services, combining solid backend engineering with customer-facing efficiency. I’m also pursuing a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering & Project Management (UNED) and hold an Oracle Certified Associate credential for Java SE 8.
