What I'm looking for

I want the seat where the numbers have to be right and someone owns that. Controller, CFO, or Director of Finance, at a company with multiple entities, intercompany traffic, and an audit on the calendar. I have held 11 CFO seats across 36 industries and closed the books at Zeller Electric, a $38M contractor, 100+ job sites. Remote, and the close lands the same day every month.

Two accounting firms had already signed off on the books. I found the seven-figure intercompany elimination error they both missed, inside the $113M four-entity Carousel platform.

That is the work. 26 years, 11 CFO seats, 36 industries, $939M in career aggregate peak revenue, native English and Spanish. Eight consecutive years of clean external audits at two companies simultaneously, Plante Moran at Greenridge Farm and Blackman Kallick at KLC Global Services, sixteen combined audit-years, with me as the primary contact.

Three more catches. At AAA Lease, I recovered $1.3M in unbilled revenue that was already written off and structured a $75M CapEx facility across multiple banks. At Greenridge Farm, I built a $3M reserve ahead of a commodity shock and grew the finance team from 1 to 12. At Disappear Dent, I erased a $235,770.18 IRS levy.

At AVED Group, I carried up to 29 parallel LLCs with waterfall accounting through the 2008 credit crisis and held a four-bank workout syndicate together. At SEIU, I held a board seat and filed federal Form 5500 under the ERISA fiduciary standard. And I have walked owner-operators through their own balance sheet line by line, in Spanish, for the first time in their lives.
