What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can lead music/creative arts therapy that’s structured, trauma-informed, and collaborative—supporting clients’ communication, emotion regulation, and functional goals while working closely with interdisciplinary teams.

I’m a Creative Arts Therapist building my clinical practice in music therapy through hands-on internships and training grounded in trauma-informed care. I focus on structured, goal-oriented sessions that support attention, memory recall, communication, motor coordination, and emotional expression.

As a Music Therapy Intern at Bancroft NeuroRehab, I facilitate group and individual sessions for adults with developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injuries. I collaborate closely with rehabilitation and behavioral health teams to strengthen individualized treatment plans and adapt musical experiences to meet diverse sensory, cognitive, and emotional needs.

Earlier, during my internship at Jefferson Hospital, I designed reality-oriented and creative interventions for adolescents and adults facing mood disorders, psychosis, and schizophrenia. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, I tailor sessions to language, cognitive, and emotional needs while encouraging focus, communication, and emotional regulation.

Before my formal music therapy training, I spent years as an Assistant Teacher and Assistant Music Educator, supporting preschool and early elementary learners through classroom management, inclusive activities, and small-group reading, art, and music experiences. I bring that same steady, nurturing approach to therapy—combining creative lesson planning, adaptability, and collaboration to foster safety, connection, and progress.
