Message

At the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory, I lead research and development spanning malware analysis, network intrusion detection, and cloud security for Navy network operations.

I've architected and administered an enterprise automated malware analysis platform, built containerized microservices, and led a Kubernetes migration that improved scalability and reduced analysis turnaround times. I also design network security monitoring platforms with Zeek and Suricata across on-premise and cloud environments.

I manage a $1M/year research budget, write technical proposals, and deliver executive briefings and technical reviews in support of Department of Defense modernization goals.

I'm also a project lead and Scrum Master for cross-functional teams, mentoring junior developers and interns while delivering mission-critical research milestones. Outside of work, I build bare-metal Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, Talos Linux, and Raspberry Pi cluster projects.
