What I'm looking for

I am seeking a role that allows me to leverage my research skills in a collaborative environment, focusing on innovative solutions in chemistry and education.

I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemistry at New York University, where I also serve as an Adjunct Faculty and Graduate Teaching Assistant. My academic journey has been marked by a strong focus on drug design and synthesis, particularly in targeting aberrant protein-protein interactions. I have published several research papers in reputable journals, contributing to the understanding of amyloidosis and its implications in diseases like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.

Throughout my career, I have gained valuable experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at both New York University and the University of Denver. My work has involved conducting in-depth research on the pathology of amyloidosis, studying the effects of various inhibitory molecules in disease models, and presenting my findings at various seminars. I pride myself on my ability to communicate complex scientific concepts effectively, both in writing and verbally, which has been instrumental in my teaching roles.

In addition to my research and teaching experience, I have a solid background in laboratory management and procurement, having served as a Manager and Coordinator at the American University of Nigeria. My leadership skills, coupled with my technical expertise in various laboratory techniques, make me a well-rounded candidate ready to contribute to innovative research and educational environments.
