Joely Tejada

I am a nursing professional with a strong pastoral and people-centered mindset, shaped by my studies and ongoing “work with children and youth.” I’m described as “Responsible” and I approach others with “empathy,” “patience,” and a genuine “eagerness to always learn.”

I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Science from the University of Panama, then deepened my training through “theological studies” and “foundations of biblical counseling.” I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Mental Health Nursing at The University of Spain, which strengthens how I support emotional wellbeing in practical, compassionate ways.

Professionally, I have experience as a “Primary School Supervisor” with Doulos Christian Academy (2008), and I also worked as a “Nurse in various departments” at Santo Tomás Hospital (2013-2016). Along the way, I consistently bring “teamwork” and “leadership,” supporting learning, care, and safe communication in fast-moving environments.

Beyond clinical and education settings, I volunteer and serve through Paam Global (2016-Present), and I have ongoing missionary involvement through local church and global work. I value “meaningful conversations,” intercultural understanding, and teaching new skills—especially when working with families, children, and youth across communities.
