Assisted in creating a digital training tool for new workers and volunteers. Supported forming and strengthening the Bear River Region LGBTQ+ Community Coalition. Co-organized and facilitated workshops for community members and healthcare providers to identify needs and solutions.

Analyzed the organization’s experience with a menstrual management bill and developed an advocacy plan. Drafted and presented internal policies for board approval. Collaborated in reviewing documentation, including educational content, partnerships, contracts, projects, and reports.

Monitored and tracked the annual institutional plan, focusing on meeting targets for users and services. Led the creation of Institutional Safeguarding Policies and Protocols. Produced annual, biannual, and bimonthly statistical reports on program reach and impact.

Planned, delivered, and evaluated literacy classes for first-cycle students. Integrated knowledge and skills in reading, writing, general culture, human rights, history, and art.

Supported the recruitment department by visiting universities to identify community leaders. Established follow-up mechanisms to maintain contact and recruit top candidates. Interviewed and evaluated candidates, participating in finalist selection.

Activities and societies: Fulbright Alumni – Summa Cum Laude. During the first year of internship, supported the day program and Seniors program at the Cache Valley Employment and Training Center. For the second internship year, worked at the Transforming Communities Institute (TCI), a research institute at Utah State University, gaining experience in Community Engagement Research.

Accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), this full-time program requires completion of 60 credits and two years of professional internships totaling 900 hours of field education. The focus is on advanced generalist practice.

Activities and societies: Selected as one of 10 nationwide scholarship recipients, ranking third among the awarded candidates. Research internship involved reviewing legislation related to femicide and feminicide in Latin America and analyzing its similarities and differences.

This program, funded by the National Secretariat of Science and Technology (Secretaría Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología), was pursued after being selected as one of 10 nationwide scholarship recipients. The program included a research internship at the Institute for Women’s Studies (Instituto de Estudios de la Mujer) of the University of Costa Rica (UCR), Western Campus.

This specialization was completed in December 2023.

Activities and societies: Professional internship completed at the Secretaría Nacional de Discapacidad (National Secretariat for Disability).

Training included the design, monitoring, and evaluation of social welfare services offered by the State and the ability to identify and map social issues at the micro and macro levels. Skills were developed in community organizing and resource management.
